Mortgage Processor

About the Role

Aravian Financial is seeking an experienced Mortgage Processor to manage loan files from submission through closing. You will work closely with loan officers, wholesale lenders, underwriters, and title companies to ensure every file closes on time. This is a critical role in our operation and requires strong knowledge of the mortgage process, lender requirements, and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage loan files from submission to clear-to-close across multiple wholesale lenders
• Order appraisals, title commitments, flood certifications, and all third-party services
• Review files for completeness and accuracy before lender submission
• Clear underwriting conditions efficiently and accurately
• Communicate file status updates to loan officers and borrowers
• Coordinate closing scheduling with title companies
• Maintain organized pipelines and meet closing deadlines
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and lender requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of mortgage processing experience
• Working knowledge of conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA guidelines
• Experience working with multiple wholesale lenders preferred
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple files simultaneously
• Familiarity with loan origination software (Encompass or similar)
• Clear communicator — written and verbal

Nice to Have

• Experience processing Non-QM or DSCR files
• Experience in a mortgage brokerage (vs retail bank) environment
• Bilingual Spanish (see separate listing)

Compensation

Salary based on experience. Full-time position.
