Loan Officer Assistant (Unlicensed)

About the Role

Aravian Financial is seeking an unlicensed Loan Officer Assistant to provide administrative and operational support to our origination team. This is a great entry point into the mortgage industry. You will gain hands-on experience in the full mortgage process and have the opportunity to pursue your NMLS license with company support.

Responsibilities

• Assist with loan file organization, document collection, and data entry
• Contact borrowers to request and collect outstanding documents
• Coordinate scheduling between borrowers, agents, and title companies
• Maintain pipeline tracking spreadsheets and follow up on open items
• Prepare loan files for processor handoff
• Provide general administrative support to the loan origination team

Requirements

• No NMLS license required (unlicensed position)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent phone and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Prior experience in mortgage, real estate, banking, or financial services preferred but not required

Nice to Have

• Interest in pursuing NMLS license (company support available)
• Experience with mortgage software or CRM platforms
• Bilingual Spanish (see separate listing)

Compensation

Hourly or salary based on experience. Full-time or part-time considered.
