Loan Officer Assistant (Licensed)

About the Role

Aravian Financial is seeking a licensed Loan Officer Assistant to support our origination team. This role is ideal for an NMLS-licensed professional who wants to be involved in the full origination process, assist with client communication, and grow toward independent origination. You will work directly with Kris Syevens and learn the broker model from the inside.

Responsibilities

• Assist loan officers with loan setup, document collection, and application preparation
• Communicate with borrowers to gather outstanding conditions and answer questions
• Review loan files for completeness and accuracy before submission
• Coordinate with processors, underwriters, and title companies
• Maintain pipeline reports and follow up on pending files
• Support marketing and client outreach activities as needed

Requirements

• Active Texas NMLS license required
• At least 1 year of experience in mortgage lending or financial services
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple files simultaneously
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and mortgage software

Nice to Have

• Experience in a mortgage brokerage environment
• Familiarity with wholesale lender portals
• Bilingual Spanish (see separate listing)

Compensation

Salary or salary plus bonus based on experience. Full-time position.
