Eighteen years ago, Kris Syevens made a bet on homeownership — not as a transaction, but as a path to financial freedom. Growing up, he watched real estate change the trajectory of families around him. That observation shaped everything that followed.

Kris began his lending career in New Jersey and New York in 2008, one of the most challenging periods in mortgage history. Originating loans during the financial crisis taught him things no classroom could: how to find solutions when markets tighten, how to communicate clearly when clients are anxious, and how to close deals that less experienced advisors walk away from.
He grew up in the Houston area, relocating here with his family in 2005 and finishing high school in Texas before heading back to the Northeast to start his career. In 2012, he returned to Houston for good, drawn by the economic opportunity and growth he saw building across the state. He has been here since, serving Houston-area families, veterans, and investors across one of the country’s most dynamic real estate markets.
